Earthworm Castings
Earthworm castings are truly remarkable and hold a multitude of benefits for soil health and plant growth. Their remarkable qualities stem from the combination of nutrients, microbial diversity, soil structure improvement, and environmental sustainability that they bring to gardening and agriculture. Known as the best and healthiest fertilizer known to mankind.
Nutrient Richness: Earthworm castings are a concentrated source of essential nutrients, providing plants with the nutrients they need for healthy growth.
Balanced Nutrient Release: The slow-release nature of the nutrients in castings ensures that plants receive a steady supply of nutrition over time, reducing the risk of nutrient imbalances.
Microbial Diversity: Castings are rich in beneficial microorganisms that enhance soil health, nutrient cycling, and disease suppression.
Improved Soil Structure: Their contribution to soil structure aids in better aeration, water retention, and root penetration, all of which foster optimal plant growth.
pH Regulation: Castings have a near-neutral pH, helping to stabilize soil pH levels and create a more favorable environment for plant growth.
Plant Growth Promotion: The microorganisms and nutrients in castings stimulate plant growth, resulting in more vigorous plants and increased yields.
Disease and Pest Suppression: The microorganisms in castings can help suppress certain plant diseases and pests.
Environmental Sustainability: Earthworm castings are a sustainable way to recycle organic waste and reduce the environmental impact of waste disposal.
Low Risk of Over-Fertilization: Their gradual nutrient release minimizes the risk of over-fertilization, making them a safe choice for plant care.
Organic and Safe: Castings are organic and free from synthetic chemicals, making them suitable for organic gardening and environ-mentally-conscious practices.
Considering these aspects, earthworm castings can significantly enhance soil quality and plant health, making them a popular choice among gardeners and farmers seeking to optimize their growing environments naturally and sustainably.

Add 10-30% worm casting into soil mix depending on existing soil
conditions. Alternatively place 1" of worm castings above the
root zone once per year, cover lightly with soil or mulch and water. Side dress during
the growing season with 1/2 cup of worm castings per plant
or 1 cup of castings per linear foot for each row every month.
Add 10-30% worm castings into soil mix depending on existing soil
conditions. Alternatively work 1" of worm castings above the
root zone once per year, cover lightly with soil or mulch and water. Take care not to
damage shallow roots while working the castings in. Apply in spring, early summer
and again in early fall.
Add 10-30% worm castings with your favorite seeding mix or
potting soil.
Work in 1/2 - 1" of worm castings to top of soil taking
precaution not to damage shallow roots and water. Repeat every month.
Once plant recovers from transplanting shock, top dress with 1" of castings
cover with mulch if desired, water thoroughly.
4 cups of worm castings at 1 - 3" below the surface for each plant once a year. Mound roses with a soil mix using 10-30% worm Ccstings 6-10 inches high in late fall. In the following spring spread mound throughout the garden.
250 - 500 lbs. per 500 sq. ft., or up to 1" depending on existing soil conditions. If seeding, mix seed with castings or spread seeds and cover with 1/2" of castings.
Submerese worm casting tea bag in 5 gallons of water for 24 - 48 hours, while aerating. Use immediately after brewing. Casting tea is excellent for fruiting or flowering plants or as a foliar spray.
The worms sourced for our worm castings are called the Canadian Nightcrawler (Lumbricius Terretris). Needless to say— these worms are not indigenous to Florida.
Our partners chose these worms to create these One-Of-A-Kind Organic Worm Castings in an effort to sustain our gardens, our bodies and the environment as a whole. The Canadian Nightcrawler produces one of the most
microorganisms of any worm species!
The Canadian Nightcrawlers eat an organic plant-based diet and are free from contaminants, pollutants or any harmful chemicals. The PureLife extraction method boasts a 92% purity rate— competitors are able to produce 55-60%.
Canadian Nightcrawler worm castings are rich in beneficial microbes like Protozoa, Nematodes, Amoebas, and Flagellates. Protozoa decompose organic matter, Nematodes control pests, Amoebas enhance nutrient cycling, and Flagellates support biodiversity, all contributing to a healthier, more productive ecosystem!
In contrast to other fertilizers on the market, including various manures, compost, phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium based – our worm castings are odor free, free from chemicals, organic, non-flammable and work to add carbon to the soil. They also help plants to become strong therefore more resistant to disease and pests.
